Sunday Shortbread

Its a lazy Sunday afternoon so I made some delicious shortbread. So easy, give it a go!



































Ingredients:
150g plain flour
100g butter
50g caster sugar

Preheat oven to 160C.
When your butter is at room temperature, cream it with the sugar until light and fluffy.

Gradually stir in the flour and bring it together into a ball. DO NOT overwork your dough.
On a lightly floured surface roll out until 1-2cm thick then cut into your chosen shape. Place on a greased baking tray.

Prick with a fork, sprinkle with more caster sugar. Bake for about 10mins or until they start looking golden.

Leave to cool...make a cup of tea and eat!
